Origin

Our wood products for oenology are made from French oak (Quercus petraea. L. and Quercus robur. L.) certified PEFC

We guarantee the provenance and traceability of the wood used, from cutting in the heart of our forests in the Grand Est to delivery of the final piece to your cellar.

Thanks to a rigorous process of natural drying in the open air, the oak gradually releases its tannins and humidity. After a minimum of 24 months of maturation, it is ready to give its finest aromas.

Oenological contribution:

Iconic breeding, very close to breeding in wood. Progressive extraction of wood components, true aromatic complexity. A double-heated Premium stave makes aging even more intense and classy, for a top-of-the-range result.

Use :

Used during alcoholic fermentation, aging and after malolactic fermentation.

Single use

Contact time: 9 to 16 months.

0.5 to 1 stave per hectoliter.

One stave takes up the equivalent of 2.2 liters of wine.

Packaging and recycling

We use eco-designed and recyclable food packaging for the packaging of our wooden oenological products. This packaging combines a low environmental impact and high quality, thus preserving the rich aromatic contributions of our products.

Upon receipt, store our products in a cool, dry place.
